Welcome to this family tree website.  I`ve been researching my family history 
for about 3 years now - but I'm still a novice.  Most of the Shooter research 
has been supplied by the "Shooter Research Group", group that e-mails updates 
between members.  All the information on the Shooters is copyrighted by the 
Group (to prevent any commercial exploitation).

Almost all my Poxon research is based on internet-based resources - although 
many thanks is due to Ken & Pamela Dukes of Rushall, Staffordshire for getting 
me started.  I have also done some research on my wife`s family tree.

I am now embarked on an exercise to try to document all Poxon, Poxton and 
Poxson families in the UK.  One day I hope to link all the families together 
but this may be a forelorn hope... but at least it will give me something to 
do in my retirement.
